Avett Bros

My obsession with the Avett Brothers started in May.. I got offered CHEAP pit tickets to their concert at Austin 360 amphitheater and I knew maybe 3 of their songs so I decided to go! Their concert was probably the best show I've ever been to. They were so fun, and the lights were amazing. They played a lot of upbeat songs but I teared up when they played "Life" as their encore with no drums or backup instruments (just the lead singer and guitars). Beautiful. Ever since then, I have been waiting for them to come back to Austin so I can go to their show and sing to every song. It's so obvious that they are such good song writers. Each song has this hidden meaning and tells a story along the way. My favs are Me and God (which I think is about organized religion?), Life, and SLIGHT FIGURE OF SPEECH! Their voices are so crisp I love it. The harmonies were incredible.
